Our story
It started with a coat.
Bought new, worn for one winter, outgrown by spring, and still perfect. Every family has this coat. We built the shop that gets it to the next child, checked and honest, instead of a cupboard.

Before they turn three, most children go through seven sizes. So every piece here is checked by hand, given one of four honest grades, and comes with 14 days to change your mind.
Why “Clover & Hem”?

Luck first. Then diligence.

The clover
Čtyřlístek is the four-leaf clover Czech kids press into books for luck. The right piece in the right size feels exactly like finding one.

The hem
The last thing we check before a piece is listed. Collar to hem: every seam, zip and cuff, by hand.

The unglamorous work
What every piece goes through
- Checked by hand: every seam, zip, cuff and knee
- Washed and steamed before photos, and again before posting
- Graded on a fixed four-point scale that never bends to the price
- Flaws named and photographed close up, no surprises
- Bulk-listing
- Vague “good condition”
- Guilt about buying new
- Anything we wouldn’t put on our own kid

Clothes deserve a second childhood.
One piece of each. When it is gone, it is gone.
